I don’t have room for a $300 car to swap a V8 into. Although I do kick the idea around about getting rid of both my 84 Gti’s but I don’t even work on them, what makes me think I’ll work on some thing different.

Silver one has a title issue from about 10 years ago, was going to be my auto-x car, engine blew gasket within a week of ownership. Hasn’t run since.
The black one is in ruff shape, 254K miles on Odo. lowered by PO, was bought to use as a parts car, but it was running. Then steering rack broke?? It only turned left. I bought a new rack, never put it on.
I won’t sell my Jeep. I know that.

I guess I’ll have to do a write up on them. Even at 254K and older & almost twice the power of the metro I was impressed on the ride home when in 5th gear on highway I floored it and went forward where the metro had about 10 seconds where it had to build up momentum .
I need to find a Robert Pepper in Illinois that can get me a title for the silver one.
Long story short, the silver one has never been to the house I have lived in since ‘11. It stayed at my other rental house since ‘08.
Sad, but exciting that all my cars will be together.

Someone must have done terrible things to maim a redblock at 138K. Both our reddies made it past 300K and chugged along to the end, it was just the electrics and auto tranny that proved overly troublesome.
